Ingredients:
2 lbs live crab or crab legs
2 lemons, halved
2 onions, quartered
2 heads of garlic, halved
2 bay leaves
2 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
2 tbsp hot sauce
1 tbsp black peppercorns
1 tbsp salt
1 lb small red potatoes
1 lb corn on the cob, husked
1 lb smoked sausage
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add the lemons, onions, garlic, bay leaves, Old Bay seasoning, hot sauce, black peppercorns, and salt.
Add the potatoes and corn to the pot and bring the water back to a boil.
Reduce the heat to a simmer and add the crab or crab legs, smoked sausage, and butter.
Cover the pot and simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the crab is cooked through.
Remove the pot from the heat and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
Drain the pot and transfer the crab, potatoes, corn, sausage, and butter to a large serving platter.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with extra Old Bay seasoning, hot sauce, and lemon wedges.
