Ingredients:
1 lb of squid, cleaned and cut into bite-size pieces
2 cups of all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups of panko bread crumbs
Vegetable oil for frying
Salt and pepper to taste
Lime wedges for garnish
Sweet chili sauce for dipping
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, eggs, and panko bread crumbs. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat the oil in a deep-fryer or large pot to 375°F.
Dip the squid in the flour mixture, making sure it is well coated.
Carefully place the squid in the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
Serve immediately, garnished with lime wedges and a side of sweet chili sauce for dipping.
