Ingredients:
1 baguette or French bread roll
1/4 lb of thinly sliced pork or chicken
2 tbsp of soy sauce
2 tbsp of fish sauce
2 tbsp of sugar
2 cloves of minced garlic
1/4 cup of mayonnaise
2 tbsp of sriracha sauce or chili paste
1/4 cup of sliced cucumber
1/4 cup of sliced jalapenos
1/4 cup of cilantro leaves
1/4 cup of mint leaves
1/4 cup of sliced pickled carrots and daikon
Instructions
In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar and minced garlic.
Marinate the pork or chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated meat until cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and sriracha sauce or chili paste.
Slice the baguette or French bread roll in half and spread the mayonnaise mixture on both sides.
Add the grilled meat to one half of the bread, followed by the sliced cucumber, jalapenos, cilantro, mint, pickled carrots, and daikon.
Close the sandwich and press down gently to compress the fillings.
Cut the sandwich in half and serve.
