Ingredients:
2 cups of shredded green papaya
1/4 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup of long beans or green beans, cut into 2-inch pieces
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 bird's eye chilies, sliced
1/4 cup of chopped peanuts
2 tablespoons of fish sauce
2 tablespoons of lime juice
2 tablespoons of palm sugar
1 tablespoon of dried shrimp (optional)
Instructions:
In a mortar and pestle, pound the garlic and bird's eye chilies until well combined.
Add the shredded green papaya, cherry tomatoes, long beans, fish sauce, lime juice, palm sugar, and dried shrimp (if using) and pound until the green papaya is slightly bruised and the ingredients are well combined.
Transfer the salad to a serving platter and top with chopped peanuts.
Serve immediately and enjoy with sticky rice or as a side dish.
